ID Film Projects 2010 in Westside & Ballinasloe Libraries

Community, social and voluntary groups from around Galway are being invited to take part in a project that will allow them make their own documentary.
The
ID Projects aims to document a broad range of issues and subjects in society today by empowering groups to tell their own stories. The Galway Film Centre will give professional advice and support to four groups, two from the city and two from the county, throughout the entire production process free of charge. The groups then tell their own stories based on the common theme of identity.
The film centre, the Arts Council, and the Galway county and city councils will hold a free information evening in the Westside Library, Tuesday March 30 at 6pm and in ED Direct/Ballinasloe Library, Wednesday March 31 at 4pm.
